Week of Leather: Outfit #3 - Burgundy & Leather

Today's look features a faux leather top from Forever 21. The great thing about a leather top like this  is that it's really simple, but it adds some "edginess". It looks great paired with a blazer or a bold statement necklace, or even a simple cardigan. I couldn't find this exact top, but I linked a similar one that I honestly like better. I'm highly considering ordering it!! Also, these jeans from Forever 21 are really comfortable and they are so cheap! They have a lot of great colors, and I'd highly recommend buying a pair :)

The second outfit in my leather series features the most comfortable leggings I have ever worn! I scored these on sale for $6.99. I was hesitant to order them, but i'm so glad I did!  They are really soft, they fit just right and they have a really thick waistband, which I really like. I paired them with this leopard sweatshirt from Forever 21.  The zipper details on the shoulders of this sweater are the perfect addition to make it a little more edgy.

This week is going to be all about leather! I have a few leather items in my closet and I thought it would be fun to feature them throughout the week. Leather can be tricky sometimes, but I feel like when it is paired with the right items it can be really fun! 

This leather jacket is probably one of my favorite items in my closet. It's surprisingly comfortable and it's the perfect addition to any outfit!  I felt like this outfit needed a bright pop of color, so I added this berry colored H&M scarf. H&M has these neck scarves in several colors and I love them! They are cheap and they are a great simple addition for any outfit!

Excuse the snow on my shoes! I saw a similar outfit to this on Instagram and realized that I had very similar pieces so I thought i'd try re-creating the look for a wedding reception I went to a few nights ago. The scarf and the tights are perfect for the freezing cold weather. I love this scarf! I saw it at Kohls a while back and I decided to pass it up thinking that I wouldn't wear it very often. A few days went by and I was really bugged that I didn't just but it, so I went back and luckily it was still there. It's really soft and it goes with so many outfits! 

Cold Day Casual

It has been snowing quite a bit the last few days! This outfit is perfect for snowy days because it is really warm and comfortable. I am obsessed with these quilted vests from Old Navy. I have one in every color! They look very similar to the Jcrew quilted vest, but they are a fraction of the cost. I also love these waffle-knit tops from Old Navy. They are really soft and warm. I shop at Old Navy quite often. They have some really great sales and they always have coupon codes or in-store coupons. If you like to shop at Old Navy I highly recommend signing up for their email list if you haven't already. These vests were originally around $40, but I didn't pay over $20 for any of the them because I used coupons or got them when they went on sale. I also have a few of these waffle shirts in different colors, and I only paid $8 for them because I got them when they went on sale and I combined the sale with a coupon! Did you know that Old Navy has a price adjustment policy? If you buy and item from them and it goes on sale within 14 days of the original purchase, they will refund you the difference as long as you have your receipt. I did this a while back and I ended up getting $60 back!
